Captain Canada – Steve Nash on the Move?

The departure of Amare Stoudemire from the Phoneix Suns this past off-season has resulted in a lack of scoring punch from the Suns roster. More importantly, it has resulted in a tougher time for Canada’s own beloved Steve Nash. For the first time in over a decade, Nash is playing on a team with a losing record.

Nash is having difficulty playing his game. He has no pick-n-roll partner and has limited weapons at his disposal. Hakkim Warrick, Jared Dudley and Channing Frye are his weapons of choice these days. Hardly the studs he is used to playing along side in the past like Dirk Nowitzki and Amare Stoudemire.

Trade rumors are swirling around the Suns these days as they look to change their identity and start a youth movement. Goran Dragic appears ready to take over the Suns, and moving Steve Nash’s 2 remaining years ($10.31, $11.61 million) on his contract could be easier to move than you think to many teams including…The Knicks? What about a D’antoni/Stoudemire reunion for one last hoorah?

Whatever the outcome, it looks as though Nash’s days in Phoenix may be numbered. Stay close to this story and let us know what you think. Is moving Nash the right move at this time?
