Knicks stacking the deck for Anthony?

With word that the Nuggets will look to move Carmelo Anthony before the NBA trade dealine, The Knicks are trying to find ways to add pieces to their roster that the Nuggets will look for in any kind of deal for Anthony. This past off-season, the Knicks received Anthony Randolph as a part of the David Lee to Golden State trade with the hopes he would live up to his potential, yet Randolph finds himself buried on the depth chart in New York.

According to the New York Daily Post, many NBA GM’s are inquiring about Randolph and it looks as though the Knicks want a 2011 First Round pick in return. This pick will be included in any possible Carmelo Anthony to New York trade.

    There are rumors that Rockets GM Darryl Morey is very high on Randolph and may be willing to return the Knicks own 2011 1st round draft pick that the rockets got in the McGrady deal back to them for Randolph.
