Game 3 Recap: Orlando vs Atlanta

You would think that you were watching “The Young and the Restless” with the high drama that involved streaks of baskets, big leads, comebacks, foul trouble, a fight, techicals, ejections and a fluke three pointer bank shot to seal the game for Atlanta.

If I had the script and changed the storyline and made it that it was Hedo Turkoglu that got ejected and not J-Rich. Magic probably would’ve had a better chance to win due to Turk’s horrible fade away three pointer and J-Rich’s clutch skills. Zaza knew he had the better of it, and he was applauded by the Atlanta fans. Such a dirty act to win the game.

Credit to Atlanta for again stopping the influence of the three point prowess of Magic while shooting 55% in the 1st half. Well done to Atlanta for playing well in the first half whilst in foul trouble. More credit to Atlanta’s clutch plays from Horford and Crawford to win the game.

This has put Magic in a 2-1 hole. It is a familiar sight as that happened two years ago in the first round playoff in 2009 against Philadelphia and Magic rallied to win the next three games to save the series and ended up in the finals. Turkoglu connected a game winning three pointer to win the pivotal Game 4. The magic fans would like to witness something like that again, as long as they get the win.

Joe Johnson was the man to stop and he has played fairly well, only to have Jamal Crawford outshining him. Crawford has scored 23, 25 and 23 points in the three playoff games against Magic. If Magic stop both of the electrifying guards, they will increase their chances to win. Again, if they make their shots, Magic will increase their chances to win.

All we can do is wait for Game 4 to happen on Sunday and relish what will happen.

If I had the script, I would make sure that the Magic will have their viagra game face on ready to get revenge on what happened in game 3.
