What a delightful game to kick start the playoff semi’s

A high scoring affair between to energetic teams with their stars flourishing is what we needed to see. Memphis won theĀ game 114-101, to steal the home-court advantage. Both teams pushed each other in every quarter but it was Memphis who was always ahead, winning every quarter.

Randolph dominated again with another double double – 34 points and 10 rebounds. He received tremendous support from his team with 4 others scoring double digits, especially from Gasol who scored 20 and had 13 rebounds.

Durant had his usual day out with 33 points and 11 rebounds and had the support of Westbrook with 29 points, 6 Assists and 6 Rebounds, along with Ibaka’s 16 points and 11 rebounds. But it was Memphis spread that won the game. It didn’t matter who had the ball for Memphis as they all shot well scoring 49.4% from the field.

Every time Oklahoma threatened to make a comeback, Memphis collected themselves and continued to put space between them andĀ their opponent.

I am definitely looking forward to the next game on Tuesday to see how Oklahoma will respond to the loss.
