End of 3rd Overtime – Oklahoma win 133-123

It was clearly a game of whoever can last the longest. A game that tested each player physically and mentally. A game that proved pivotal, if Memphis won, they would have had the series in their hands with a 3-1 lead. But Oklahoma pushed beyond their limits and tied the series 2-2.

It was a game of big stats, as expected with overtime. Westbrook and Durant led Thunder as usual with 40 points, 5 assists, 5 rebounds and 35 points, 13 rebounds and 4 steals respectively. The twin towers of Memphis did themselves no harm with Randolph racking up 34 points and 16 rebounds to go along with Gasol’s 26 points and 21 rebounds. Surely the Lakers wish they had Marc instead of Pau! Thunder were well supported by Harden (19 points) and Cook (10 points) as Memphis were by Conley (16) and Mayo (18), It was unfortunate that those two Grizzlies were fouled out in this high dramatic game.

With the victory, the Thunder regained home-court advantage and tied this Western Conference semifinal at two games apiece by handing the Grizzlies their first loss in Memphis this postseason. Game 5 is on Wednesday night in Oklahoma City. The winner of  the series will play the Dallas Mavericks in the conference finals.
