Overseas Signings

Apparently today is a day that has signified some NBA Player signings overseas because there has been a n influx of new reported signings.  Although none are major Super Stars, it is still important to note the amount of players.  Although specific terms of each deal are not yet available, it is assumed that opt-out clauses/pre-arranged waiver agreements are set in place if the lockout was to end.

Player Movement:Reggie Williams (Warriors) to sign with Caja Laboral out of Spain
Rasual Butler (Bulls) signed with CB Gran Canaria (No opt-out clause)
Alonzo Gee (Cavaliers) signed with Asseco Procom out of Poland
Latavious WIlliams (Thunder) signed with Joventut out of Spain
Kyle Singler (Pistons draft pick) signed with Alicante out of Spain
Nikola Vucevic (Sixers draft pick) signed with Buducnost Podgorica out of Montenegro

As the season’s start date approaches, it will be interesting to watch if more impactful players choose to sign with foreign teams.
